our story
The idea for Healthful Munches started with a dream to open a restaurant. While Healthful Munches doesn't have a physical location (as of yet), the vision to share healthy recipes with other people is still alive with this online recipe blog. Our goal in sharing these recipes is to offer a healthy alternative to foods that are high in cholesterol, fat, processed sugars, and other harmful substances which lead to heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, and more health issues. The good news is that these risks can be lowered just by changing one's diet.

All of our recipes are vegan, which means there are no dairy products, eggs, or meat in them. You will also find a lot of gluten-free recipes, as well as ways you can make some of the recipes gluten-free. We don't use refined sugars either and try to stick to a minimum use of processed sweeteners (sugar substitutes that are still processed).
