banana-nut smoothie

this delicious smoothie is super quick to make, and it's filling too



It all started with a dream to open a restaurant which then led to the publishing of this recipe blog.

This smoothie is made up of only FOUR ingredients: plant-based milk, coconut milk, banana, and nut butter. You can easily substitute one milk for the other (eg. replace plant-based milk with coconut milk) but I like a little bit of both.

If you have nut allergies, or just don't like nut butter, you can substitute any seed butter instead. The flavor will be slightly different, but I'm sure it will still be delicious.

Sometimes if I know I will be out for a while and don't have enough time to make a meal, I will make this, pour it in a glass jar, and take it with me. It's always a treat!

banana-nut smoothie

yields 2 cups

ingredients:

1 c plant-based milk

1 c coconut milk

1 ripe banana

1 tbsp nut butter


directions:

blend all ingredients until smooth and runny
